Hello I’m Bailey!

Let me be honest with you. I didn’t create Sunday Soul Notes™ because I had it all figured out. I created it because I didn’t.

I was a busy entrepreneur, a single mom, someone who had built a career I was proud of, but I was still walking into Monday feeling like Sunday never happened.

The prayer I meant to sit with? Forgotten before I made it into the office on Monday. The sermon that moved me to tears? Gone by Tuesday. I was showing up for everyone and everything, but I wasn’t showing up for my own soul.

I needed somewhere to put it all. Not just my sermon notes, but my real thoughts, my honest prayers, the scriptures that were speaking directly to my life. I needed a place that held space for all of it, but I couldn’t find one that felt right. So I created Sunday Soul Notes™.

My journey has been anything but straight. I graduated high school at 16, earned my degree with honors from Howard University, and spent over 20 years building businesses across branding, graphic design, coaching, and content. I helped launch BET.com, I’ve worked with multimillion-dollar CEOs and side-hustle entrepreneurs. My work has been featured in The Washington Post, NBC, and New York Daily News. I’m a certified Integrative Life Coach and the author of “Life Been Lifing, Don’t Be Distracted from Your Purpose”, a book I wrote for women who know God has more for them but aren’t quite sure how to get there.

But none of that matters on the days when life is heavy and you can’t find your footing. And trust me, I’ve had plenty of those days.

What I know for sure is that when I started treating my spiritual life with the same intention I gave everything else, things shifted. I got clearer. I got calmer. My faith stopped feeling like something I squeezed in and started feeling like something I actually lived.

That’s what I want for you.
